Inklusion und Ziegel – Spielplatzneugestaltung Ziegelstraße

Im Juli 2017 beginnt die Neugestaltung des Kinderspielplatzes Ziegelstraße. Der Spielplatz wies in den letzten Jahren nur noch wenig Aufenthaltsqualität auf, da fast alle Spielgeräte aus Verkehrssicherungsgründen abgebaut werden mussten. Lediglich eine verwaiste Rutsche wies drauf hin, dass hier Kinder spielen sollten. Nun wird der Spielplatz für 221.000 Euro im Rahmen des Programms Soziale Stadt neugestaltet. Neben neuen Schaukeln sollen individuelle Spielgeräte entworfen werden, die das Thema Ziegel aufgreifen. Des Weiteren soll das Thema Inklusion eine wichtige Rolle spielen: So sollen die Bedürfnisse von Kindern mit unterschiedlichen Einschränkungen berücksichtigt werden. Die Fertigstellung des Spielplatzes ist für Herbst 2017 geplant.
